The cacao comes from small family farms across Thailand, primarily in Loei province in the north. We work exclusively with family farmers, never with large corporations. We also believe the people who grow our cacao deserve to taste what it becomes. We pay every farmer their full asking price, and sometimes more. We send every farmer finished BARADA chocolate so they can experience their own work from bean to bar. Most cacao farmers in the world never get that chance. Ours do.

Most commercial chocolate is ground for a fraction of the time we take. The 48 hours we invest in stone-grinding is not a marketing claim.
